To work towards the advancement of methods and standards in the treatment of juveniles.
To improve the welfare and climate of juveniles in the criminal justice system. To promote appropriate legislation.
To monitor court decisions and where appropriate, seek legislative or judicial means to further the goals of law enforcement, and to enhance public safety.
