Juvenile Operations Seminar
The PJOA is offering a training
seminar to Officers across the state of PA regarding the Juvenile
Justice System. The seminar can be brought to any location across the
state. The seminar will address issues such as, role of the police
department during custody, interview, fingerprinting and detention of
juveniles. Other areas covered include, the role of the District
Attorney's office, the philosophy of balanced and restorative justice,
case law issues, etc.

the PJOA by sending an email and a member of the training staff will
contact you.
Fall Training Conference
The training will be held during the week of September 12-16,
2005. The training will again be offered at the Holiday Inn, Grantville
located just outside of Harrisburg. There will be three different
programs available. The training is being offered in conjunction with
the Fox Valley Technical College, OJJDP and NCMEC.
